In April, the production team of the popular series “We Are คือเรารักกัน” featuring lead actors (Pong) Naravich Lertratkosum, (Phuwin) Phuwin Tangsakdaung, (Winny) Thanawin Ploycharoensuk, and (Stang) Kittipob Sereewatchayasawat, along with director Mr. Siwat Sawatmaneekul—who is also known for directing the well-loved series “Bad Buddy” and “Red Thread” chose “The ShellSea Krabi” as the filming location for the final episode (EP.16).

The ShellSea Krabi has been honored with the prestigious Kinnaree Silver Award in the Luxury Hotel category at the “13th and 14th Thailand Tourism Awards of 2021, 2023. Organized biennially by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, these awards aim to elevate the standards of the country’s tourist destinations, promote creativity, encourage environmentally friendly tourism practices, and enhance the competitiveness of Thailand’s tourism and hospitality industry on a global scale.
Located on Fossil Shell Beach in Ban Laem Pho district, Krabi, The ShellSea Krabi is a unique geological site, one of only three such locations in the world, and the only one found on the coast. Just 15 minutes from Ao Nang Beach, this luxury boutique resort has established itself as a premier destination within less than five years since its opening.
This year’s awards criteria emphasized environmental management, corporate social responsibility, and exceptional service standards, leading to The ShellSea Krabi’s recognition in the Luxury Hotel category.
The Thailand Tourism Awards are divided into four categories: Location Hotels, Luxury Hotels, Resorts, and Design Hotels. The ShellSea Krabi’s achievement of the Kinnaree Silver Award in the Luxury Hotel category highlights its commitment to excellence in the hospitality industry.

It was our great pleasure to welcome Sofia Pernas, Moroccan-Spanish actress, and Matt Barr, American actor star as a mismatched duo on ‘Blood & Treasure’, an American action-adventure drama television series which is premiered on CBS, in Krabi, Thailand filming Season 2 of Blood & Treasure.

The most prestigious Tourism Awards, organized every two years by Tourism Authority of Thailand. The ShellSea Krabi has been awarded for the prize of Kinnaree Gold Award 2019 for The ShellSea Krabi for Luxury Hotel. The awards selection criteria focused on the issue of environmental management, corporate social responsibility as well as the excellent standard of services.
The ShellSea is located on Fossil Shell Beach in Ban Laem Pho district in Krabi. It is also a geological miracle, one of only three such sites in the entire world and the only one of those three to be found on the coast, one in US and another in Japan. 15 mins from Aonang Beach, the 3 year-old property is positioned as a luxury boutique resort.
